Gado Gado

Gado Gado is a salad made with slightly boiled, blanched or steamed vegetables. You can then top this salad with hard-boiled eggs, boiled potato, fried tofu and tempeh, along with lontong (rice wrapped in a banana leaf). To complete the dish, a peanut sauce dressingn will be drizzled on top. In 2018, Gado Gado was promoted to be one of Indonesia’s 5 national dishes.
